Jan’s Easy Chili

1 lb. ground beef
1 onion, chopped
1 green pepper, chopped
1 30 oz. can chili beans (not kidney)
2 8 oz. cans tomato sauce
1 qt. V-8 or tomato juice

Brown ground beef with onion. Use dehydrated onion if desired. Add other ingredients and simmer. If you like it spicier, add 1 tsp. chili powder. The chili bean s are already seasoned, so it’s okay without it.
